Well, I went searching for a Brick Blocker tutorial but couldn’t find any in Google so I decided to make one myself.

Before we start, people have been asking if it works 100% of the time. Well I’m not sure, but the updates on the discs will prompt you before you update anyway, so Brick Blocking is just a good means of making sure it won’t update even if you accidentally say yes to the update.

  • Download Brick Blocker (Thanks to wii-maniacs.com)
  • Grab your favorite NTSC ISO Dump
  • Open Brick Blocker from your extracted zip file.
  • Go up to the Langue dropdown and click Changer la langue…
  • Choose english.lng and click OK
  • Under Wii Iso Path: click Browse and select your ISO dump
  • Now click Read Info It will show info like Game Name, console-ID, Game Code, Country Code, Maker Code.
  • Now click Patch and it should patch the game and say Complete.
